(Current IOLS Customers
settings)
There are two
ways to dial your Internet connection
1. Creating a shortcut to the IOLS Icon and
placing it on your desktop
2. Use the
Internet Icon
or the
Internet Explorer Icon on
your desktop
Creating a shortcut to the IOLS Icon
and placing it on your desktop.
To do this...
Click on the
icon on your desktop.
Click on the
icon
Right click on the
icon you created earlier and select "Properties".
Click on "Create Shortcut". You will get the
following message:

Click "Yes". This places the shortcut on your
desktop.
When you want to connect to the Internet all you have to do is
click on the icon
and the following window will appear...

Use the Internet icon on your
desktop
Another way to connect using Windows 95
is to use the
or
Internet icon on your desktop.
If this is your first Internet connection using Windows 95 a short
Wizard will take you through the remaining steps to dial into Inet
OnLine Services (IOLS). You shouldn't have any problems as we have
already configured your connection.
If any information appears within the setup boxes DO NOT CHANGE IT
since it will change any settings previously set up. (Please
click here for a tutorial on setting up the "Internet Connection
Wizard".)
If Inet OnLine Services (IOLS) is replacing a previous
providers setup
Right-click on the Internet icon or an existing Netscape icon to make
the necessary changes. This setup will prompt you for your username
and password that you have chosen. Please enter them in the
appropriate places and make sure you type
"yourusername@access" (No quotes) in the User name
field.
That's all there is to it!
Now you're ready to start surfing the Net...
