Welcome
to IOLS!
We'd like to thank you for joining us as your
Internet Service Provider (ISP). Our goal
is to make your experience using the services provided
by IOLS pleasant and beneficial.
We have prepared this section of our Tech
Support site to make setting up your computer as
easy as possible. There is no software to
download and everything that we ask you to do is
explained. When necessary we will provide
screen shots to assist you. If you ever
have questions about setting up your computer please
call us at 815-439-4657. We're always
happy to help you.
You
will need the following information to get
started (We'll assume that you have a computer
with a modem and it is already connected to a
phone line.):
-
An
active dialup account with IOLS.
Although you can setup your new connection
at any time it will not work until it is
activated on our end. We will send an
email to you, at the address you have given
us when you signed up notifying you that the
account is active.
If you have not done so already
-
The
IOLS Username (Referred to as "yourusername"
throughout our tutorial) and password that
you selected when you placed your order.

The
dialup access number you will use.
