trouble staying connected, please click here.
 |
REASON
#1:
Your account has expired because we did
not receive your payment.
If
we do not receive your payment before
the beginning of your next term of
service (Monthly, Quarterly or Annually)
your account will be suspended and any
email sent to you will be lost.
Although we do make an attempt to
contact you via your IOLS email account,
if your credit card was declined or if
your check is due soon please contact us
before the end of your account term.
-> Solution:
Please Call Us As Soon As Possible.
(Our phone number is 815-439-4657)
And provide us with new payment
information.

 |
REASON
#2:
You could be using the wrong username
and or password.
Make
sure you are using yourusername@access
in the account name field. This is the
only place this is used. Also, be
sure to use only lowercase letters.
If you do not do this you will not
connect.
-> Solution:
Follow These Step by Step Instructions

Open
Internet Explorer. If you are asked
if you want to connect to the
Internet select "Work
offline"
-
Click
on "Tools"
-
Click

settings" section
- Make sure you are using
yourusername@access
- Delete and reenter your
password
- Leave the "Domain"
field blank
-
Click
"OK" to save your
settings & close this window
-
Make
sure that "Always dial my

whatever you are calling your IOLS

REASON
#3:
Your dialup networking settings may be
incorrect.
Although
this is less common with current Windows
Operating Systems (Windows ME and above)
Windows 98 & 95 may require
additional manual settings since the
default settings may be for Local Area
Networks (LAN's) and not Dialup
Services. Making these changes is a
simple process and we have very easy to
follow instructions available in our New
Account Setup section of IOLS Tech
Support.
-> Solution:
Please
click here to review your settings.

 |
REASON
#4:
There may be something (Another program,
etc) that is preventing you from
connecting to the Internet.
A
firewall, network monitoring program or
another program running on your computer
or network that is not configured
properly will prevent the necessary
communication between your computer and
our network.
-> Solution:
Contact your firewall or software
vendor for
assistance in resolving this issue.
|
 |
REASON
#5:
There may be a problem with your
computer or modem.
First,
computers and their components are not
perfect and they all have finite lives.
They will break and at times seem to
have a mind of their own. You paid
a lot of money for your computer to
someone (Not us) and they have the
expertise to repair it.
-> Solution:
Contact the manufacturer of your
computer and
have them perform diagnostics on your computer
to verify what is not working
properly. Many times
they can easily walk you through the
repair or
dispatch a technician to perform the
repair for you.

 |
REASON
#6:
There may be a network outage or
maintenance in your area.
First,
the Internet is not perfect nor are
machines (This includes computers and
networks). With that said...
Although we make ever attempt to ensure
that our network operates efficiently
and without failure there are rare
times when a network issue will prevent
you from connecting. Typically we
know about it before you call us and
will be the first one to tell you that
there is an issue. Network issues
that occur on our end are a top priority
and are handled quickly. Network
issues beyond our control include fiber
cuts, telephone company problems and
acts of God (We admit to these also).
-> Solution:
Please be patient.
Services will be restored as quickly as
possible.
|
 |
If
none of the above apply...
Please call us at 815-439-4657.
Please note that we only an Internet
Service Provider. Although we may
be able to help you identify where a
problem is, please remember that we are
not a computer repair shop. As
such, it is only fair that we not be
expected to troubleshoot our repair your
computer.
-> Solution:
Contact the manufacturer of your
computer

Online Form to contact us. |
