and answers regarding the services offered at IOLS.
Q: "Do you have technical
support and how do I use it?"
A: Yes we do, you
can call us at 815/439-4657 - 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
If you do get our voice mail it is because we do not put our
customers on "Perma-hold" (It's rude and boring). So
leave you name, phone, IOLS username and a time that is no later
than for us to call you back by.

and we will respond via e-mail, telephone or both.

Q: "How much does your
service cost?"
A: $9.95/month for an annual
membership with IOLS.
Q: "What is my e-mail
address?"
A: Your e-mail address is
"yourusername@iols.com" where yourusername is replaced by
your user name. For example, if your user name is "fun"
your e-mail address would be "fun@iols.com" NOTE: YOUR
E-MAIL ADDRESS IS NOT yourusername@mail.iols.com!!! (Click

Q: "Do you offer shell
accounts?"
A: No.
Q: "What
browser(s) do you
support"
A: Every nonproprietary web
browser.
Q: "What software do you
provide?"
A: Windows 95 and above have a
built-in PPP dialers, so no additional software is needed,
and for Macintoshes and Windows 3.1 we provide links to
the appropriate PPP dialers or you may purchase our
"Internet Power Pack" (It has everything you need for a
complete Internet experience. And, if you'd like
us to come out and actually set it up on your PC we will for a
nominal fee. Please contact us for more info on this.
Q: "I get a window saying I
am connected and a timer is running, and nothing happens. What do I
do now?"
A: You are now connected to
the Internet, in order to browse the World Wide Web you must
now start your browser (for example: Netscape, or Internet Explorer)
by double clicking on the icon for Internet Explorer or Netscape.
Q: Can I SPAM with my IOLS
account?
A: NO!!! Please
