The following instructions will show you how to connect to your IOLS email account using Microsoft Outlook 2003. If you need assistance, please call our technical support help desk at: 815-439-4657.

Step 1 Start Microsoft Outlook and click Tools > Email Accounts on the menu bar.

Step 2 Select Add a New E-mail Account and then click the Next button.
            If you are checking the settings of an existing email account click on View of change existing e-mail accounts and go to step 3.

Step 3 Select POP3 and then Click the Next button.

Step 4 Enter Your Name, Email Address, User Name, and Password. Then enter your POP3 and SMTP server addresses.
Note: If your email address is @iols.com use the following information:
E-mail Address: username@iols.com
Incoming Mail Server (POP3): mail.iols.com
 

Then click the More Settings button.

Step 5 Click the Outgoing Server tab.

Step 6 Select the My Outgoing Server (SMTP) Requires Authentication checkbox and then click the OK button.

Step 7 Click the Next button and then click the Finish button. You may now send and receive your email through Outlook.
